Are You Feeling Cold?

October 1, 2011

by

If heaters and fireplaces can’t warm you up this winter, the problem may not be the cold weather outside.

Feeling cold is also a common symptom of adrenal and thyroid gland stress resulting in low hormones and a host of symptoms including tiredness, weight gain, depression and menstrual problems.

Measuring your body temperature according to the following health tip is an easy and accurate way to prove whether or not you have an abnormally low temperature.

Health Tip:

A helpful screening test that you can easily do is to measure your Basal Body Temperature. On waking, before getting out of bed, place a thermometer under your armpit. Wait 90 seconds, then record the temperature in a diary. Do this for at least three days. Women with a menstrual cycle must perform the test on the days between the second and ninth days after starting the period. Temperatures below 36.4 are abnormal.

See me for a comprehensive assessment and treatment if your basal body temperature is in the low range or you are experiencing any of the above symptoms.

Enjoy Life,

Dr. Peter.

P.S.

Send me an eMail if you would like a free copy of a chart to check your basal body temperature or for female fertility assessment.
